Received a call from someone claiming to be Finley James, but I cut it short when he requested my bank details. Seemed a bit dodgy to me!

I managed to miss a couple of calls from this number earlier today. After doing a bit of digging online, I discovered it’s a complete scam! Phew, dodged a bullet there!

I'm completely tired of these deceitful callers! I've been waiting for medical treatment from Harrogate healthcare and I've been hesitant to pick up the phone. This is actually the second attempt I've received; last Wednesday they rang from a different number altogether. It's about time they were reported to the relevant authorities and hit with some hefty fines!

Interestingly, they pointed out that I hadn’t played for a few years — when in truth, I participate in the lottery online every single week! Ultimately, when I didn't acquiesce to their request, the caller abruptly terminated the conversation. Quite a shady tactic, if you ask me!

Received a call from a chap named Fin claiming to be with the National Lottery, saying I’d won myself 20 lottery tickets. Obvious scam, so I ended the call.

I received a rather dubious phone call from this number, with the caller purporting to be from the National Lottery. They were insisting that I’d won ten lucky dips and needed to provide my address and personal details. I made it clear that I’m not one to share information like that over the phone, and suggested they could just credit my online account instead. To my surprise, the chap on the other end claimed it was I who had initiated the call, as I was merely returning a missed call. He then tried to engage me in a bit of a debate over it, which I didn’t fancy at all, so I promptly ended the call.

It feels like a scam, probably some sort of automated dialler, especially since I do have a Lotto account. I can't help but wonder why they would reach out to me in the first place!
