I didnt pick up, but after checking the number backwards, turns out its a VOIP one (basically a phone number thats made online). From what I’ve read, these are often used by scam call centres in India pretending like they’re calling from the UK. Quite dodgy if you ask me.

It showed up as Halifax on my caller ID, but I just ignored it since I was pretty sure it was one of those scams.

I received a call from these dodgy scammers who claimed they wanted to discuss my life insurance policy. However, when I inquired about the name of their company, the call mysteriously cut off. Quite suspicious, don’t you think?
