Im so over these cold calls from people pretending to be from some financial firm saying iv got thousands owed to me from mis-sold ppi. This time I played along just to see what would happen and got passed to a really polite young woman. If she was legit, sorry to her! Then I got moved on again, ending up at what looked like a proper insurance company in Halifax who thought I was actually trying to buy something. Funny thing is their customer service said they know all about this scam. So unless you really need some insurance, better not get caught up in this one.
