Got a call claiming to be Virgin Media saying my internet was slow (which it really was). They told me to run a test through their website and then asked me to download some remote desktop software so they could access my computer. I told them I wasn’t happy with that and said I’d ring Virgin directly instead. The person then just replied "Alright, f*** off" and ended the call. Proper rude!

Got a call at my place in Grimsby earlier, some person telling me I could get a £50 voucher for online shopping with various firms if I signed up to their club and paid monthly fees. They also offered a free fuel voucher for Esso. I just told the woman to buzz off and ended the call. What a daft scammer.
