Out of the blue, I got a letter from AJJB Law, saying I owe cash to some company called COEO Securitisation Ltd. I’ve never come across them before, and I’m certain I don’t owe anything to them. This feels like a dodgy scam trying to trick me into handing over money or personal info.

Since May 25, I’ve been getting texts from this number claiming I owe money, first calling themselves CRS, then DRS, and now AJJB. They all sound like proper debt collectors, but the people texting aren’t from any of those companies, plus they never get my name right. Mostly they’re threatening me with court action. I’ve blocked the number but keep an eye on it to spot which company name they use next so I don’t accidentally respond. I’m sure I don’t have any loans owing. They usually say Quidco is the creditor but have also mentioned Next and Payday Loans among others.

These lot claim to be from some legal firm named AJJB Law. They keep telling me I owe cash to a made-up company ‘First Central’. They say they’ll pass your info on to another firm to chase the debt. My credit record is spotless and I don’t owe anyone a thing, so it’s obvious they’re just scammy pests. They keep blowing up my phone with texts every single day. If you ring them back, they’ll probably try to squeeze even more personal details out of you. Honestly, these people should be shut down!

Got an email supposedly from Klarna saying I had a £58 debt and that a CCJ would be issued if I didn't pay. They offered some payment plan via debit card. Thing is, the email had an old address from like 3 years back. I looked up the phone number attached and it was definitely scammers trying to trick me.

They couldn’t show any evidence that their firm actually got a sale through to the company. Kept pestering me with loads of texts and were pretty rude about it as well. Honestly, don’t bother dealing with them. If they keep at it, just reply with something like, “Kindly stop contacting me about this debt, or I will have to consider further legal steps.”

I got this huge, 5 page letter from AJJP that looked super official. At first, I thought they were legit, but the phone number gave me pause. Turns out it was meant for the old owner of my place who died more than a year ago! They even messed up spelling his name. Got me curious enough to look into it. Not sure if I should email them to sort it out though, worried about getting bombarded with more letters. Their website seemed proper enough but who can really be sure?

Since early February, I’ve been getting loads of texts on my phone saying they're from AJJB Law, telling me I owe a firm named Fund Ourselves £500. The messages keep getting more serious too, now threatening me with a “Letter before claim.” It's all rubbish though - I’ve never come across Fund Ourselves before, and there’s no way I owe them any money.

I recently received correspondence from AJJB legal, and they cited this number, insisting that I owe Klarna money dating back to January 2020. However, I must say, this number is as dubious as they come. When you ring it, you're left hanging in limbo for ages without ever getting through. It seems designed just to harass you into handing over cash. Beware, it's definitely a ***SCAM!***

Out of nowhere, I got a letter about a debt from more than two years back. The address was wrong, and the letterhead hardly had any proper company details where you'd normally find them. Seeing how many similar reports are here, I reckon this is probably another scam.

So I got this letter from some place called AJJB saying I owe £80.64 to Credit Resource Solutions. I have no idea who they are and I’m pretty sure I don’t owe anything to anyone. They’re threatening to take me to court if I don’t pay up. The letter didn’t even have a proper heading or anything. Watch out for this sort of stuff! I’m now waiting to see if they actually follow through. Feels like a scam to me!

Like others mentioned, I got a couple of emails that looked legit from Klarna but turned out to be total scams out of the blue. So far, I’ve only had one letter through the post and I’ve reported it to the action fraud site. No phone calls yet though. The AJJB address they give isn’t a proper place according to the email. Also, calling that number might cost more than normal. I’m not planning to call or pay anything, that’s for sure.

I recently gave them a bell regarding some data protection issue, and they requested my address. I mentioned to the rather brusque lady on the other end that I was hesitant to share my personal information without knowing exactly who they were. She insisted she couldn't continue without it, and then abruptly disconnected the call. When I inquired about the reason for their call, she was quite evasive. It all struck me as rather suspicious, to be honest.

It seems that the individual on the line is a debt collector representing a company known as ALLAY (UK). They appear to be in the business of handling PPI claims, yet it raises concerns that should they succeed in obtaining a payout, they might be more inclined to keep the funds for themselves rather than pass them on to you.
