Got a missed call from this number, no idea why they rang but it felt a bit dodgy.

On 11/10/19 at about 3.23pm, 01422728226 gave me a ring. No voicemail was left, but I found out who it was by using 1471. Even though we're signed up with the TPS, it doesn’t seem to help much. We actually have an automated message on our phone saying we’re on the TPS, yet calls keep coming through from what I’m guessing aren’t genuine companies - probably just scammers working solo.

I got a call about an accident claim, they said they’d help me get some compensation, but it was all just a trick to grab my bank info. These kind of fraudsters should seriously be put to a stop!

So annoying, keep getting calls for someone who doesn’t live here or anything to do with us. Tried telling them loads of times they’ve got the wrong number but still no luck. These calls are just a nightmare! Honestly, there should be proper laws stopping people from selling personal info so scammers can’t keep bugging us like this. Already blocked the number, but at this rate I’m gonna need a better call blocker soon cos this one’s nearly maxed out. Grrr!

I've gotten about seven calls from this location. When I ring back, there's always an American-accented woman saying you can opt-out by giving your details - name, phone number, and postcode. But then, it just says their mailbox is full and you can't leave a message. I've blocked them every time, but they keep ringing, usually from a new Halifax number, within a day or two. So annoying!

Got a call again, like the millionth time from this same number. I called back and there was this message from some American computer telling me to give my name, address and postcode if I want to opt out. Nah, no way mate. I've just blocked it now.

got another call today, saturday around 3:17pm, 28/9/19. honestly, i’ve lost track how many times this number has called me now, even tho my spam blocker cuts it off after one ring. not sure if the person behind it realises they’re blocked or maybe it’s a robo call machine. i don’t know anyone from the area it’s coming from, supposedly halifax. think it’s about time i reached out to the information commissioner’s office to see if something can be done legally.

Honestly, I’ve no clue who keeps ringing me, but I’ve had to block them through the BT1572 spam call filter. They try calling about three times every week, but my phone only buzzes once since it’s marked as spam. You’d think they’d have realised by now that I’m not answering, so it’s probably just some auto dialler. I don’t know anyone from Halifax either, so no idea what this is about.

I rang the number back and ended up going through this automated system that lets you ‘opt out’.

This number keeps ringing me but then they just cut the call without saying a word. It’s the same one over and over again.

Got a call from someone wanting to check my loft for insulation, claiming it was some kind of inspection. Seemed like a sales pitch to me, trying to push their services under the guise of a check-up. Bit suspicious if you ask me.
