I've been getting loads of calls from loads of different numbers all claiming to be from Halifax. They try all sorts, from compensation for workplace injuries to PPI claims. When I mentioned to one lady that my number's on the TPS list, she suddenly turned all quiet and told me to call them back because apparently the number isn’t even in use. Total time wasters and, I reckon, dodgy scammers.
