They keep ringing but just drop the call every single time.

Got a call claiming "you've been in an accident" which I denied, telling them to remove me from their contacts. Weirdly, the exact number called me again the very next day repeating the same line. When I pointed out I'd already asked to be taken off their list, the woman insisted "we've never rung you before." Both times, the callers had a scouse accent, which struck me as strange since the caller ID showed a Halifax number. Funny enough, Halifax is where I’m actually from.
