Received a rather odd call on my mobile, looking for my daughter. The chap claimed she’d been involved in an accident somewhere in Halifax. I quickly informed him that she was absolutely fine, to which he insisted it was true but that she hadn't mentioned it to me, as her name was noted in the National Accident Database. He did add, though, that it could’ve just been a minor bump. After reiterating that my daughter was definitely unharmed and questioning why he was calling me, the line suddenly went silent. I believe he went by either Dean or Dan. Quite peculiar!
