some bloke of asian origin called asking for the business proprietor, told him to jog on and ended the call.

I got a call from a lady with an Asian accent asking for the person who owns my business. She used my name and tried to sell me cheaper phone and internet plans. When I asked her how she knew my current deal, she said it was from Openreach and that info was freely available online. But when I told her my contract isn’t with Openreach, she suddenly changed her tune. I told her all our calls are recorded and I’d be sending the recording to the fraud police, then I ended the call.

Got a call from a guy claiming to be from Xin, said he needed to sort out my Xin account. When I asked for the account number, he couldn’t provide it. So, no deal for me. Just a heads up to watch out for this one!
