Got a call from someone saying they were with Scottish Power’s meter reading team, asking me for my supply number, meter number, and account details. I refused to give anything and asked for a reference number so I could check with Scottish Power myself, but they just hung up on me. I rang Scottish Power afterwards and they confirmed it wasn’t them at all - clearly a scam trying to get my info.
