If you’re using an android, maybe check out the app store and look for an app called unwanted calls blacklist-call blocker. It might help block those annoying calls.

Those PPI calls are such a pain! Honestly, I wouldn’t even pick up if I were you.

If your phone doesn’t have a block feature, just put the number under something like “Ignore” or “Don’t Answer.”

Today at lunchtime, I got a call from this number. I’m employed at a call centre and we purchase data from several providers. Turns out these companies gather info from quite a few places, including the Daily Mail, which I only found out about this week. There was some sad news recently about an elderly lady who sadly jumped off a bridge, which really affected many of my colleagues since we do charity work. When I got the call, I gave them a grilling, wanting to know which data broker had sold my mobile number. It turns out the company is called Reactive Media, located in Halifax, West Yorkshire. They’re currently working with Halifax Bank, apparently. They said they'd ring me back with details on where they got my number from, but if they don't, I’m determined to track down whoever sold it on. This is actually the second call like this I’ve received this week, and I expect more to come. Thanks for reading my rant.
