Nonetheless, there’s absolutely no justification for being rude or disrespectful over the phone. As a banking institution, your role is to offer a service to customers like myself. Without that function, your existence would be quite tenuous. It would have been far more prudent to exhibit a touch more courtesy and thoughtfulness. If you hold such a disdainful viewpoint toward your clientele, perhaps it’s time to reconsider your position in this line of work.

We're in a bit of a sticky situation, owing them three grand. We're stalling for time, hoping to declare ourselves bankrupt so we don't have to cough up a penny. They keep fiddling with the figures, so I've decided it’s best to ignore their calls. We're behind on our taxes too, and HMRC certainly isn’t in a forgiving mood. Let them exhaust themselves trying to chase me down! Here are some numbers that might be linked: 441422280261, 441422357677, 441422835449, 08456029441.

We've been inundated with calls from this number and a few others linked to Halifax, relentlessly ringing our landline and mobile at all hours, Sundays included! It’s become so tiresome that we've decided to stop answering our home phone altogether. We're seriously contemplating changing our number and diverting all those annoying calls straight to voicemail on our mobile, so we can just let them ring out and not bother with them.

We've been bombarded with constant calls from them. It turns out we've recently exceeded our credit card limit by a mere six pounds, which we've already settled and then some. Despite that, these callers just won't let up. We've always kept up with our payments, and more often than not, we pay over the minimum amount due each month. It's rather frustrating, to say the least!

We took out a finance deal for a vehicle with these guys. Unfortunately, the car's now a total loss, and we don’t have any coverage to help us out. We forked out £10,000 already, but there’s still £4,000 left to settle. The issue is, they can't reclaim the vehicle since it’s been written off. What’s our next step? We can’t afford to cough up any more cash at this point. Should we just disappear? We’re keeping up with our payments most of the time, but they’ve turned quite nasty over a single missed payment. What a situation!

We’ve been inundated with calls from these folks, and though we’re customers of Halifax, as soon as we attempt to call back, it just doesn’t go through. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

Lately, this number has been giving us quite a ring, but what really took the biscuit was when they phoned us on a Saturday morning at 10 o'clock! And then, to add insult to injury, they called again on a Bank Holiday at half past eight, waking us from our slumber. Quite baffling, really, as we've never actually picked up the phone for them before. However, given that a few of you have pointed out that this could be Halifax, we’re inclined to believe it might be them, especially since we've got a few loose ends to tie up with the bank.

Absolutely, it’s the Halifax. They seem to have a multitude of different numbers they operate from. We had a rather annoying experience where our phone was redirected to us when someone dialled 174. It was linked to some disputes regarding credit cards. In fact, we even permitted the Halifax Bank of Scotland to withdraw funds directly from our Halifax account. It raises a serious concern about the security of your savings in the Halifax Building Society, especially considering the shaky state of the Halifax Bank of Scotland, which is evident from their plummeting share prices. It appears they might be able to utilise your funds as assets, which is quite alarming, to say the least!

I've just experienced a missed call from this number, but when I tried to ring them back, I couldn't get through. After perusing the comments above, it seems this might be linked to Halifax. It's all a bit puzzling, really, as we don't have any banking relationships with them or any dealings with their affiliates. In fact, we've never borrowed a penny from Halifax, so this has left us quite bewildered!

I received a call just before 8 in the morning. The caller mentioned they wanted to speak with Mr Jason Robson. We confirmed this, and then the line went silent. I tried to check the number using 1471, but it didn’t show anything. When I attempted to return the call, there was no response at all. Quite peculiar, really!

We received a call from the number 01422357677, and the person on the other end was quite rude. She came across as rather haughty and blunt, claiming to represent Lloyds. When we engaged in conversation, they posed a question, and as soon as we tried to respond, they declared our answer incorrect. We asked them to hold on for a moment, but by the time we returned to the call, the line had gone dead. I tried to ring that number back, but it seems to be entirely non-existent. Honestly, these nuisance calls really need to be addressed; it's high time they found something more meaningful to do with their time!
