I was prompted to hit '1' to cancel the transactions or '3' to connect with an advisor. Naturally, I opted for '1', and was soon connected to a gentleman with a distinctly Asian accent, though his audio quality was atrocious. Before divulging any personal information, I requested to know who I was speaking to. Unfortunately, despite my efforts to clarify-repeating my question not once, but thrice-his response remained inaudible. After the third attempt, he abruptly terminated the call.
