Got this message out of the blue about an unpaid debt, but it wasn’t even meant for me. The text included a link that looked like it might be for CRS, but I didn’t dare click on it since I wasn’t sure if it was legit. This is actually the second time I’ve had one of these weird texts pop up. What annoyed me the most was they didn’t give a proper explanation, just some random "##additional info 10##" nonsense. Felt like either a rubbish scam attempt or really poor handling from CRS themselves.

Beware of this number! They claim I owe £152.70 to JC International Acquisition, but when I tried calling back, the person just cut me off. They called me Stewart Cairney, which is definitely not me. They also said I could get a 50% discount - obviously a trick - and asked me to check out mcyrs.co.uk. Honestly, I’d say this number is highly suspicious. Cheers, Anonymous

I’ve been getting texts from this outfit all weekend - Saturday, Sunday, and again tonight around 6 pm - saying I owe cash and to log into my account. I never gave them any info! I looked up the company and the phone number on their site, which led me here. Glad to find out I’m not the only one dealing with them. Blocked the number now!

Got a letter from CRS Debt Recovery for a previous tenant who moved out over 6 years ago. I never opened it but found their contact number and ended up on this site. I’m not going to call them, as I don’t want them constantly ringing or messaging me. I sent the letter back, unopened, marked “not at this address.” No clue how to get in touch with them properly though. Their website kept flagging warnings about malware and phishing, which honestly makes me very wary of dealing with them.

I've heard some folks grumbling about the quality of those letters, but let me tell you - today, this "spectre of wrongdoing" is spot on, albeit a bit hard to decipher. Believe me, they aren't forged. And let’s not forget, there are some dodgy coppers in the mix too. So where does one turn to voice their grievances? Proceed with care, everyone!

I've come to realise that Credit Resources Solutions and AJJB Law, the debt collection solicitors, are essentially the same entity and are both running a con. Daily, I’m bombarded with incessant text messages, and I've received no fewer than six letters threatening to escalate matters to the County Court. The most recent correspondence was quite alarming, consisting of five sheets of paper requesting sensitive personal information, such as my mortgage details and monthly expenses. I urge everyone to steer clear of these tactics-it’s undoubtedly a massive scam!

They kept bombarding me with texts non stop, even though it was a brand new number and phone. In the end, I reported them to the ICO and also sent the messages to 7726. Can't really say anything about their letters coz I never received any. So if anyone else is checking this out - no letters, just texts - it means they’re probably chasing someone who used to have your number or someone else gave them your digits so that unlucky person gets swamped with texts instead.

I kept gettin' texts daily and it got so annoying that I just ended up changin' my phone number. It wasn’t worth all the hassle, honestly. No clue if they even realised the number was dead or if it’s gonna be given to someone else who’ll have to deal with the same nonsense.

So this company CRS also sends messages from the number 07520 633 793. I got my nan a really simple phone, no internet or camera, and the battery lasts forever - just in case she needs to call 999 if she falls. But now her phone is full of texts from CRS. Does anyone know how to make them stop texting? Or should I just get her a new SIM card? I’m worried the messages might stress her out. She’s quite elderly and it would be terrible if someone tried to make her pay for someone else’s debt.

Hey, we just received a letter today with that same phone number, demanding we pay a debt of £291.65 from a store we've never even shopped at. Hello there! We've received a rather concerning letter from CRS regarding the phone number 01422324510, claiming that we owe £291.65 to a retailer with whom we’ve never had any dealings. It's quite baffling, really. They’re insisting that we settle this disputed amount, which has been a source of unnecessary stress for us. Is there perhaps any governing body or authority that can intervene in situations like this, addressing the fraudulent tactics of these scammers? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

We received an uncanny call just like that, featuring a pre-recorded message that warned us someone would be contacting us at home within the next two days. We attempted to return the call several times, but all we encountered was a busy tone. Honestly, our phone call was just like the countless others I've had. We had to confirm our name, age, date of birth, and the like. As soon as we provided our details, the tone of the other side shifted dramatically; they became really rude and somewhat intimidating. It got to the point where we decided to cut the conversation short. Almost immediately after we hung up, we received a text on our landline stating that they believed we were disregarding the attempts to fix the issue and hinted that someone might drop by in the next two days. Quite unsettling, really!

I received a call from what seems to be a debt recovery firm, and they were really trying hard to intimidate individuals into thinking they hold the same authority as Civil Enforcement Agents, or bailiffs, as we commonly refer to them. The truth is, they’re merely a private company with no genuine power or legal standing. There’s absolutely no need to feel anxious about their threats. Just brush them off and don’t engage with them.

An incredibly pompous individual just called Zoe, attempting to confirm our address. Upon checking his details, it became clear he was quite rude. I’ve no idea who these folks are, but they left a message saying they’d be popping round in 48 hours. They want us to give them a ring to sort out a time that works for us.

We received a rather alarming text stating that I must show up at your location within the next 48 hours unless we reach out to Donald. It's regarding something we absolutely did not do, and it's driving us absolutely mad.

Received a call from this number-just a brief ring before they cut off. I'm rather looking forward to the invitation for a visit. A towering, furious Glaswegian stands ready at our doorstep, it seems!

The continuous stream of texts and calls is really starting to wear me down. It's becoming quite overwhelming, to be honest.

I’ve just had the most peculiar phone call from some unknown lot asking us to confirm our address. As soon as we asked for their identity, the woman on the line was unbelievably rude and kept pushing us to divulge our address. Naturally, we refused to comply since we haven’t the faintest idea who they are! Seriously, who do these people think they are? How on earth did they get hold of our number, and what are they actually after? It's all very baffling and a tad alarming.
