I recently received a rather suspicious automated call purporting to be from the Fraud Investigation Team regarding my bank or card. Strangely, they didn’t specify which bank or card they were referring to. The message warned of two unusually large transactions that had popped up, urging me to press 1 if I wanted to halt those payments or 2 to have a chat with one of their representatives. It all sounded rather dodgy to me!

I received a robotic call from this number claiming there were dubious transactions linked to my bank account. It urged me to hit 1 to halt these payments or 2 for a chat with a representative. Naturally, I opted to block the number instead.

They didn’t even bother to leave a message.

Over the last two days, I've been getting calls from this number 01422250943. It's an automated voice telling me there’s been fraudulent activity on my bank or card. I’ve had about five calls now, pretty annoying!

Got a call from 10/2 but they didn’t bother leaving any voicemail. Feels like it was probably some sort of scam.

When I picked up the call from 01422250943, there was nothing at the other end - just silence - and then it hung up straight away. Definitely sounded like an auto dialler to me.

I got a call from this number but the person didn’t say who they were. I honestly have no idea who it could be.

Got a call earlier today, but I didn't pick up. They left an automated message on my landline saying my "card" had been charged twice, giving details of two supposed transactions. They told me to press 1 to cancel or 2 to talk to an advisor. I rarely use my landline, just when my mobile's signal is rubbish. Funny thing is, I got the exact same message yesterday but from a different number. Pretty clear scam to me.

Got a call from some random "Bank Service" claiming there were two strange charges on my account. Then they asked me to press 1 or 2 to confirm my bank info. Obviously a scam to steal your money. Honestly, I can't believe anyone still falls for this rubbish!

For the past few days, I've been getting calls from various numbers, all sounding the same. An automated voice says it’s from my bank - but never mentions which one - warning about suspicious transactions on my account. Then it tells you to press a button if you want to stop the payments. Felt really dodgy to me.

I received a misleading automated message supposedly from my bank, claiming there were two transactions on my account. One was for £300 from Amazon, and the other, a rather hefty £1,300 for an overseas transfer. Curiously, it didn't mention anything about my bank account details. It's clearly just a scam, trying to entice the recipient into pressing various buttons and engaging with it. BEST TO HANG UP!

I just got a call from this number, and it was precisely as you mentioned in your post. They were seeking £300 and then a further £1300.

I received a text purportedly from an unknown bank claiming that there were two transactions on my card-one for £300 and another for £1300. They prompted me to press 1 to thwart the dealings or 2 to converse with a representative for assistance. I decided to cut it short and looked into the number 01422 250943, which turned out to be a total fraud. I truly appreciate the work you do on this site; it’s incredibly valuable. I had a similar experience, just like many of you have described. Recently, I got three additional calls from a different number, which also delivered the same sort of message. The number was quite peculiar and rather lengthy: 0208344064558339. It's baffling, really!

Just received a call featuring the identical pre-recorded message regarding a £300 Amazon fee and a £1,300 international money transfer. I let my answering machine pick it up while I listened in; I had no intention of answering. They hung up after a few moments. Curiously, I received a similar call yesterday from another number, but thankfully, I’d already checked my bank statements and could see this was just a ruse.

I received a dodgy automated call from what claimed to be my bank, mentioning supposed transactions on my account. They referenced a £300 charge from Amazon and another hefty international transfer for £1,300. It’s evidently a scam, fishing for someone to engage and press buttons. Best to steer clear and not get drawn into it. Just ignore it altogether!

I've received calls supposedly from an unnamed bank regarding two payments. This is the second time in just two days that they've contacted me, but they've used a different dodgy number this time round.

I received a voicemail from an anonymous banking institution, stating that there was some suspicious activity linked to my bank account. The message then instructed me to hit certain numbers to confirm whether the action was legit or not. I urge everyone to steer clear of interacting with these fraudsters - whatever you do, don’t press any buttons! If the scams we see on television are anything to go by, these con artists are probably trying to drain your funds. Stay vigilant, folks!

Received a pre-recorded message claiming I’d spent £300 at Amazon and £1100 on international transactions. They didn’t mention my bank or any account details at all, just instructed me to press a number to connect with an operator. Quite suspicious!
