I just got a call that sounded like a scam. It was some automated voice claiming there was a request for my bank to take out £300 and £1200 from companies I’ve never dealt with. The info was all wrong. My bank always contacts me personally, using my first name and confirming the last few digits of my account - this call didn’t do any of that. These scam calls are getting out of control, and even though I’m registered with the TPS, they still keep slipping through. Something really needs to be done about this.
