Got a call from someone claiming to be Fezza at Swinton Insurance asking for a Nigel Dennis. Thing is, this Nigel has apparently been using my landline for the past couple of years, but I’ve lived in this house for over three decades and had the same BT number all along. What worries me is that I read in the local paper that a Nigel Dennis was recently jailed for 17 months over fraud. People say I should change my BT number, but why should I have to do that because of some dishonest bloke?
