Today I got a ring from this number and was just about to hang up when the caller mentioned it was the NHS. They told me my third vaccine would be Pfizer and asked if I’d had any side effects from the first two doses, which I hadn’t. But then things got fishy when they suddenly asked if I had life insurance. That set alarm bells off straight away. I said yes, and when they pressed for who it was with, I told them my husband takes care of that. That was it, I ended the chat. I’ve blocked this number now, watch out if you get called from it!

Got a phone call from someone claiming to be the NHS, asking if I’d had both my Covid jabs. They already knew my name, address, and postcode, which felt a bit off. Then they started asking if I had life insurance or any health coverage. I told them that info was private and not needed. They insisted it was necessary and said it was the NHS. I told them it was none of their business and they just hung up. Their accent was really thick, made it hard to follow. Definitely sounded dodgy, not the proper NHS.

Got a call from a guy sounding Indian, saying he was from the NHS and asking about side effects of the Covid vaccine. I actually work for the NHS doing vaccinations, so I knew straight away it was dodgy. Then he started going on about life insurance and stuff. When I asked if I called back on that number, would I get an answer, he just told me to ring 111. Obviously 111 would be swamped with calls like this scam. Total nonsense!

Had a call from this number 01420 481434 and honestly, I struggled to make out what the woman was saying. She mentioned something about the NHS and asked when I last had my COVID jab, plus whether I had any reactions. When I asked her a few questions back, she rudely told me to "F off" and then just ended the call. Seems these scammers get some terrible English lessons but learn how to swear properly! Just like others have said, this was a Covid-19 scam pretending to be from the NHS trying to get my personal info. I gave them a right earful, told them to bugger off, and ended the call. I've blocked the number now, but since they fake their caller ID, it probably won’t stop them. Honestly, phone providers need to start automatically blocking calls from spoofed numbers, it's well overdue.

Received a call from someone purporting to be with the NHS, asking after my wellbeing. When I pressed for clarity and asked, "And who might this be?", they replied, "It's Mathews from the NHS. I need to ask you a couple of questions.” At that moment, it clicked-I recognised the number and immediately sensed a scam.
