My Panasonic call blocker stopped it from even ringing - a clear giveaway it was one of those auto dial machine calls.

I answered the phone with a quick "hello" and they just ended the call straight away. Went straight to block.

Loads of unknown numbers have been ringing me lately. The first time this one popped up, I just let it go to voicemail and they hung up straight away. Today I picked up but stayed quiet and they ended the call pretty quick. I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

When I answered the phone, I chose to stay quiet. After a brief pause, an automated woman’s voice came through saying “Goodbye.”

Someone rang saying they were from EE, trying to give me a refund for some credit I supposedly had left. They then asked me for my bank details. When I called the number back, it turned out to be just a voicemail from a washing machine repair service. Bit fishy, if you ask me.
