This lady was aware of my entire name. She mentioned that I had expressed an inclination towards trading and investing, which was the basis for her call. Apparently, she was eager to offer her services as a financial consultant. What was quite astonishing was her relentless nature; even after I turned down her proposal, she continued to ring me non-stop.

I received a call from a number I didn’t recognise here in the UK. This person, claiming to be Emily Smith, had a foreign accent. She asserted that she obtained my contact details because I supposedly signed up on some financial platform. When I explained that I had never done such a thing, she had the audacity to call me a liar! I made it clear that I’m on a priority list and that their call was unlawful, so I insisted they take my number off their records immediately. Really quite absurd!

Some foreign bloke called me, said I’d ‘registrated’ for some online trading thing. I told him I’ve never signed up for any of it and asked to be taken off their list. Then, out of nowhere, the caller just hung up on me. Proper cheeky!
