Got roped into some dodgy cryptocurrency investment scam after foolishly handing over my phone number. In just over a week, I’ve been bombarded with more than 40 calls from various UK landlines (01420, 0113, 0330 codes) and now even mobiles and international numbers are ringing. I never pick up and loads of the numbers hit up by #### are flagged as spam or possible fraud. None have bothered to leave a voicemail, which you’d expect if it was genuine. I told them to take me off their list by day three, but I reckon they've just passed my number around to others.
