Around 10 this morning, I got a call from this number. I picked up, but no one said anything, just dead silence. Then right as I was hanging up, there was this weird screeching noise. They've rung me a couple more times since then, but I’m ignoring it now.

a guy from asia kept pushing when i said i was busy and didn’t want to chat, kept asking what i was up to which was really annoying so i just ended the call.

I got caught up with one of these bitcoin scams that seems to come from Estonia. They often grab you with a bogus news story claiming some famous person is making loads of money using their trading platform. They want you to put down £250 to start, which they just take straight from you. My bank actually flagged them as suspicious. They use tons of different phone numbers, I've had as many as 8 calls in one day alone. Honestly, steer clear of these lot at all costs.

The call kept cutting out and the line was terrible. It was a man with an Asian accent who asked how I was doing. When I asked what the call was about, he said he was just trying to make me laugh and then told a joke. I ended up hanging up because it felt a bit dodgy.

this number rang me, and as soon as i picked up, the line went silent. i think it was one of those calls to check if my number is live because not long after, a close number (01420 358904) called me. some bloke with a thick accent started talking about some coaching or courses related to crypto stuff. i wasn’t having any of it, told him no cheers, and ended the call. then i blocked them both straight away.

It either rings just three times then dies out or if you pick up fast, they just drop the call - pretty clear they want you to ring them back. Definitely seems like some kind of scam.
