I tried blocking them on my phone but it just won’t work. Is there a way to actually put an end to these annoying calls? They’re honestly such pests.

I keep getting calls nearly daily from 01420 358520 or numbers close to it, all from the Alton area. I've blocked loads but they just switch to new ones to keep harassing me. I even told them through email and when they rang from mobiles with hidden numbers that if they didn’t stop, I’d get the law involved. Since then, they’ve changed their strategy and now just ring, stay silent for a couple of secs, then hang up. Proper annoying!

They rang me up four times today messing about with silly noises, obviously some kinda prank call. I don't mind it once, but when they keep going on like this, it just gets really irritating.

Alton keeps ringing me all the time. Got two calls from them today, the one you mentioned was the second. I’ve got no cash at all, so just quit calling me. Every time they phone, I just ignore and block their number straight away. What a load of muppets!

A lady rang me from some charity and asked if I’d be interested in donating. I said yes, and we ended up having a really pleasant chat. I get loads of dodgy calls, so it was quite refreshing that this one was genuine and not a scam. Made me happy, honestly.

The caller said she found my number on WeChat and to keep her safe, he needed to ask me some questions. I just hung up straight away. After that, I got a message threatening to track my phone and implying they'd do something bad to me. I've already reported the number to the police.
