I can confirm this isn’t a scam, they’re a proper hygiene firm called PHS. We were trying to talk to you about your account as you should be one of our clients. The phone number shows up as Glasgow, but our actual office is in Caerphilly, South Wales, postcode CF83 9DU.

Received a call saying it’s HMRC, saying if I dont press 1 I’d be arrested. Definitely a scam, just hang up and report it.

i’ve been getting calls from phs too, like once or twice every week for ages now. at first, i tried ringing the number they left behind but no one ever picked up. the weird thing is, they always use different numbers when they call, so even though i’ve blocked a few, they still manage to leave voicemails. i’m not sure if anyone’s ever actually managed to speak to a real person there, or if they’re just hoping someone calls back and that’s how they make their money? seems a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they were from PHS credit collections. It felt like a scam or some kind of phishing. When I hung up and tried calling back, it just dropped me into a never-ending automated menu that charges a crazy amount every minute. Honestly, don’t bother calling them back.

been gettin loads of calls on my phone from someone saying its phs about my account and to call back straight away with my account number. the strange thing is the caller sounds welsh but the number starts with 0141 which is glasgow. i’ve never heard of phs or had any account with them so i’m a bit stumped who they really are.
