6 yearsI got a call from 0141 888 8525, it was one of those automated messages saying it was the HMRC tax fraud team. They told me to press 1 to speak to someone or 2 to avoid an automatic warrant being issued. I hit 1 and a woman came on, asked for my name and whether I was employed or self-employed. Then she said I was being recorded for tax fraud and that I mustn’t hang up or interrupt the call. When I said I was busy and asked if she could call back later, the line just went dead.
