This guy, an Asian dude, called me saying he could help lower my phone charges but it was totally a scam. Don’t fall for that!

Somebody rang me claiming to be from BT, said they needed to check my internet connection but their English was terrible. I’m not even a BT customer, so it was pretty odd.

I picked up the phone and said hi, but then the person on the line - which sounded like it could’ve been a robot - just replied with “bye” and hung up. So strange!

I picked up but the voicemail kicked in almost instantly, so I just ended the call.
