Earlier today, I got a call from this number claiming to be with the Energy Saving Trust. I decided to verify their legitimacy since I had work done by them last year, and it turns out they have no connection to this call at all. Upon contacting the Energy Saving Trust, they informed me it was linked to some engineering firm based in Glasgow. When I tried to call the number back, it simply rang without answer. I suspect they've tried to reach me previously as well. Just a heads-up: we're registered with the Telephone Preference Service, and I intend to file a complaint regarding this.

After conducting a bit more investigation, it appears that these individuals have quite a notorious reputation for conning the elderly and those who are particularly susceptible.

I received a rather bothersome call from Skynet Security, who were attempting to peddle their alarm systems. They became quite rude when we mentioned that we’re registered with the Telephone Preference Service. They were pushing some sort of deal, but honestly, we have no interest in getting an alarm through a company like that. Quite off-putting, really!

I received a call from this chap who sounded rather dodgy. The name was Jon O'Connell, representing Skynet Security Systems. He mentioned their address as Unit two, Collivaud Place, Ocean Way, Cardiff, CF24 5PD. Definitely made me suspicious!

I received a call earlier today from 01418470666, which turned out to be Skynet Security. The caller insisted that I was registered with the Telephone Preference Service and claimed that my wife had a chat with one of their reps at our door just yesterday. What a load of nonsense! That conversation definitely didn’t happen. It really makes you wonder how effective this TPS is, doesn’t it? Such a hassle dealing with these scammers!
