I’ve stopped picking up calls from numbers I don’t know ages ago, and I’d recommend you do likewise. They always seem to ring at the same time each day. I reckon they’ve probably seen all the comments here and if their goal is to annoy, they’re only making it tough for legit callers. They’re just a pain. I first spotted these calls about two years back, so why hasn’t anyone done anything to block them yet?

I’ve gotten calls before from a guy with a really strong Indian accent who keeps asking for someone called Mrs Blagget. Normally, I just ignore these calls but this time I picked up to see if it was some kind of spam.

I just don't pick up anymore, sick to death of these scam calls. Lost count of how many numbers I've had to block, yet they keep ringing anyhow 😒

Got a call from someone claiming to be part of the British Medical Association asking if I’d had the covid jab. Thing is, the BMA is basically a doctors' union and has nothing to do with vaccinations at all.

Heard loads about this being a dodgy health insurance scam where they pretend to be from the BMA or even the General Medical Council.

Didn’t bother chatting, just ended the call and blocked the number straight away.
