I received a rather dubious phone call from someone pretending to be from an insurance firm, claiming they were following up about compensation related to a car crash I apparently had a couple of months back. The odd thing is, I can't recall being involved in any accident at all! After realising it was a scam, I swiftly blocked their number and ended the call without hesitation.

Beware of those car accident help lines, they’re a total scam. I called a few times and most of the people I spoke to were really rude and would just drop the call as soon as they realised you weren’t falling for their trick. Definitely dodgy and not worth your time.
