Then, attempting to switch gears, he resorted to flattery, remarking on my "lovely face." I couldn’t resist retorting, “Not at all!” to which he quickly wrapped up the conversation and bid me farewell. Interestingly, he seemed a touch more refined and courteous compared to the typical calls I receive from that region. I can’t help but wonder if it was the same chap who contacted me a few days prior regarding an Amazon gift voucher, and funnily enough, the call came in at the exact same hour!
