Got a call from a foreign call centre that took ages to actually connect after I picked up. The woman on the other end kinda had a clue about my name but it wasn’t quite right. The line was awful, very tinny, and I could hear my own words bouncing back loud and clear. She seemed to be talking about something like EPD Utilities, but it was hard to tell. I told her I didn’t have the patience to fiddle with the terrible sound and echo, so I asked her to make sure all our info was taken off their list.
