Got a call claiming to be from HMRC saying I'd be arrested for tax evasion if I didn’t hit one. Yeah, sure right, totally a scam! Wouldn’t fall for that rubbish.

Since I never pick up calls and they didn’t even leave a voicemail, I’m guessing it was one of those annoying scam calls, especially given what others are saying about it being harassing.

Just got a call from some firm offering me cash for a car crash they say I was involved in. How thoughtful of them! No surprise our insurance fees just keep getting higher and higher. I told the bloke straight up I was sick of these scams and maybe he should find a proper job instead.

Had a ring today from someone claiming I’d been in an accident sometime in the past two years. They insisted I wasn’t to blame, but I corrected them saying it was a 50/50 split. Then they backtracked, saying the info must have been updated. I told them if they were legit, they’d have the precise date and correct details. After that, they said I owed £1,800. I told them not to be daft and ended the call. Definitely a scam, loads of background noise like it was coming from a call centre.

They called, said my full name right away then just hung up. Feels dodgy to me, best just to ignore it. Wouldn’t trust that number at all.

Jonathan called me earlier. He was quite polite, though he did come across as a bit pushy. I think it was a bit of a random call because even though he mentioned a recent no fault accident - which actually happened - he didn’t give many specifics. They said they checked DVLA for the vehicle info, but honestly, I can do the same myself. I’m just gonna wait and see if anything else comes of it and I’ll share an update later.

This number rang me, no clue who they are. I've had about four calls from them up till now.

I got a call today from someone claiming I’d been in a car crash and that I’m due some sort of payout. Thing is, I don’t even drive! If that’s not true, why would they bother calling me? Seems like a total scam to me.

Got a quiet call from what looked like some bogus Glasgow number, and there’s no way it was anything but the same old annoying rubbish.

I got a call from some bloke called Jonathan, saying I’d been in an accident. Once I twigged it was a scam, he got really nasty and told me to f*** off. Honestly, don’t get caught out by these sorts of calls.
