So this number rang me on the 10th of May, and I only just saw the note I scribbled down after the call. The bloke totally knew my name and claimed he’d been in a crash. I went along with it to see where he was going with it. When he asked what happened, I told him if he knew, he should say it. Then he started saying I could claim £5,000 if it wasn’t my fault. I couldn’t stop myself laughing there and then, so I just hung up straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming it was about a small accident. They somehow knew my name. Then told me they were from some sort of scam unit or something, so I just ended the call.
