12/12/18: Got multiple calls from 01417785729, a few times yesterday and a couple this morning. Picked up today and it was exactly as others said. You could hear a lot of noise in the background and a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from the 'TPS', saying my subscription was about to run out. Total rubbish. I told him the only annoying calls I get are from him, then he just hung up.

I keep receiving phone calls from someone purporting to represent a call blocking service. The chap, who goes by the name of Sam Cooper and sounds Indian, has been pestering me for my bank card details. Despite telling him on multiple occasions to stop ringing, he continues to call. It’s rather frustrating!

Some bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from TPS called me. Didn’t give him a chance to say much, just told him I’m sorted and hung up straight away. Since then, the idiot’s called me like six times in the past hour! I suppose it’s their way of making sure people know nuisance calls are real. Got a call from some Indian guy claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service, telling me my block on nuisance calls was about to run out. So, I've been receiving calls from a bloke claiming to be Phil from TPS, and he's got this Asian accent. Every time he starts off with, "Hello, how's your day going?" It's getting ridiculous-he's already rung me four times today alone! I've noticed a surge of calls from this number lately as well. It seems like the genuine TPS is a bit ineffective. I'm rather frustrated and would love to find out who's responsible for selling my contact details to these dodgy scammers. It's quite vexing!

I got calls from this number a few times. The first time I answered, a lady spoke but then the call dropped. So the next times it rang, I just let it go to voicemail and didn’t pick up.

As a senior who is not in the best of health, I found myself quite perturbed this morning when my phone rang at a rather ungodly hour of 7:28 am! By the time I staggered to pick it up, the caller had already vanished into thin air. Despite having been signed up with the Telephone Preference Service for quite some time, these bothersome calls keep plaguing me. This isn't the first instance either; previously, I had my slumber interrupted by this same number at 7:20 am! When I attempt to return the call from my mobile, the line seems perpetually engaged, and before I know it, I’m cut off. It’s utterly infuriating!

I got loads of calls today from some guy called Phil, sounded Asian and kept saying he was from the telephone preference service. Every time I picked up, there was a lot of noise in the background and his usual start was all polite like "how you doin' today?" as if trying to be all friendly. But once I asked straight up who was on the line, suddenly he drops the act and you see it ain’t true at all. It's been like 4 calls, really annoying.

got called like three times within an hour, each time no one on the other end, so i had to block the number using my bt call protect. what’s really frustrating is how these scammers now just grab numbers from network systems instead of regular phone lines, so they keep swapping numbers all the time. there should be stricter checks before handing out multiple numbers to stop these muppets. honestly, there doesn’t seem to be enough effort or urgency to tackle phone and internet scams properly.
