Got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be from Visa's security team. They told me to put this "Visa support app" called Asklink on my phone, which turned out to be remote access software. The bloke claimed it was to check how hackers accessed my details. I asked where he was ringing from and he said Cardington in central London - which doesn’t exist - and the number he used was actually from Glasgow. I told him I’d rather phone my bank myself than let some stranger in, and he just cut me off.
