Picked up the phone since the number matched my local area code (Glasgow Baillieston). Ended up with a pre-recorded message expressing gratitude for an Amazon purchase of £230. Then they just disconnected! I went on to verify by checking my email for an order confirmation and having a look at my Amazon account, but there was absolutely nothing recent showing up. Definitely a con!
