I picked up and this woman with a thick Scottish accent, maybe from Glasgow, asked me to wait a moment for someone to come on the line. Yeah, as if I was gonna wait around. I hung up, looked up the number here and it pretty much confirmed my doubts. Definitely blocked now.

I got a call about a fake car insurance claim. Weirdly, the name and number they used matched a combo that only appeared once on a mate's job application before he even had a UK number. They said they didn’t purchase their contact info, but honestly, that specific name and number pairing only makes sense if they got it from somewhere dodgy. This caller and their company seem to be using info they shouldn’t have - definitely stay clear of them.

Had a call from this number and, after a quick look here, I blocked it straight away. My phone hinted it might be some kind of scam. Every now and then I pick up just to tell them to find proper work!

Some chap claimed he was ringing from an accident claims company, referring to a crash I supposedly had in last few years. I mentioned that I had an accident on Christmas Eve. Then he started asking for more info. I told him I was parked outside me daughter's place with gifts, when out of nowhere, Santa with his sleigh and six reindeer crashed into the rear of my car!

I looked them up on this site and immediately blocked the number. Over 25 years ago, I was in a car accident and broke my neck, so I know how serious things can be. Scammers like this deserve to be behind bars!

These people keep ringing me non stop. I only figured out who they were after checking the comments here. Blocking their number doesn't help at all since they just switch to slightly different ones. I'm planning to report them to Ofcom and my phone company.
