Earlier today, I received a call from a lady who claimed to represent an agency. She delved into a myriad of queries concerning an incident I supposedly had a hand in. It all felt quite dodgy, especially when she offered to assist me with some supposed injury claim. I can't shake the feeling that this is nothing more than a scam.

Honestly, cold calling needs to be illegal. The people behind these firms and their bosses should face legal action for all the hassle and anxiety they cause. I’ve been bombarded with so many annoying calls that I’ve actually disconnected my landline, which makes having a phone pretty pointless. I’m registered with the TPS, but they’re about as helpful as a cardboard cup (at least you can eat chocolate). These callers don’t seem to understand how much they disrupt shift workers, robbing them of their much-needed rest.

The person said something about me having a car accident, which freaked me out as I hadn’t had one at all. They even knew my first and last name! Total scam artists. When you ask them about the details of your supposed accident, they can't give a straight answer. Just keep pressing them and if you've got some time to kill, try to mess around with them as much as possible. Some bloke called me about a small car crash I had not long ago. When I asked him what car I was driving and when it happened, he just said he’d get to that later. I already left a comment regarding that 1041 769 number before. Got a call from it this morning and picked up for about 17 seconds. Looked through my call logs and found I've gotten around 12 calls over the past 6 weeks from various numbers but all with the same area code, just the last 4 digits change.
