I gave her an answer, but she kept asking more questions, so I told her I’m busy and just ended the call.

They hung up just as I was about to pick up. When they called again, I saw it was a Glasgow number so I answered. Got this American automated voice saying ‘your call is important to us’. Turns out it’s the same group that’s called me previously from the 0141 739 area code. It’s that scam about a supposed accident. Blocked them straight away.

Got a call supposedly from some outfit dealing with car accident claims. They were going on about an incident that supposedly took place a couple of years back. When I pressed them on the details, asking just when this non-existent accident occurred, they seemed baffled. I told them straight that I don't even own a vehicle and haven’t been behind the wheel in ages. I also inquired about how they got hold of my number, and before I could say much more, the rude bugger just hung up.

I keep getting these bothersome calls every single day for more than a week, all from Glasgow, with the 0141 code. They keep insisting I was involved in a car accident, which is absolutely untrue. Every time I block one number, another pops up to take its place! They always hang up as soon as I inquire about their identity. It’s baffling! I’m supposed to be signed up with the TPS scheme, so I really don’t understand how they’ve managed to get hold of my number in the first place. It's infuriating!

Received a call where the bloke on the other end knew my name and inquired if I'd recently had a car accident - the same old nonsense. When I confronted him about whether he was trying to scam me, he chuckled and claimed the UK Government had handed over my details. Absolute nonsense! I've added him to my blocked list.
