They kept ringing my hubby’s phone loads of times, saying it was about some accident I had. Never botherd to call me on my own mobile tho. I tried ringing back that number and it just went through to music and a message like “your call is very important to us”. After a few messages it just ended with a goodbye. Looks like a scam to me.

Got a call from an Asian guy saying he was from the sky protection team (I don’t even have Sky). Let him go on for a bit, then asked how exactly he planned to protect the sky when even the government can’t. After a good 5 mins, he twigged I was messing about and just hung up. Someone rang me saying they were from the ‘Sky Protection Team’ and wanted to update the insurance on my Sky account, which I don’t even have. Got a call from an Indian lady trying to get me to renew my sky box cover. I just told her nicely there’s no sky gear here, it’s a funeral director’s number and none of the clients watch telly. The other day, my 80-year-old mum received a call from someone claiming to be from Sky Marketing. She wisely chose to hang up, but out of curiosity, I called the number back. Got a call from this number on my mobile just now. Even tho it has a Glasgow code, it was a young lady with a posh English accent on the line. She asked for me by name and even got my title right. But before I said who I was, I asked, "May I know who’s calling?" Then the call just dropped. After seeing what others said, I reckon my not saying who I was and the way I asked put them off, like I wasn’t gonna be tricked. At least it delayed them from targeting someone else.
