Got a call from someone claiming to be a legal firm saying I’d been in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. Didn’t ring any bells so I told them I hadn’t had any accident and ended the call straight away.

I've signed up with TPS too, but it only blocks calls originating in the UK. Loads of these calls come up as Glasgow or other UK numbers, but they're actually coming from outside the country, so TPS doesn't seem to catch them at all.

Got a few calls from this number earlier today. Finally picked up the last time, and the person on the other end said I’d been in some kind of accident and might be able to get compensation. Sounds like a proper scam to me.

They called me asking about a car accident I was involved in. When I told them I’m with the TPS, they just kept asking the same thing again. I told them they shouldn’t be ringing me, then there was a pause and they just cut the line. What a load of rubbish.
