Similar to what others have mentioned, it seems they are targeting specific areas on particular days, inundating folks with messages and urging them to ring the number following a text. Thankfully, they didn’t attempt to enter my home, nor were they overly aggressive in their approach. Interestingly, two individuals arrived at separate times, almost as if one was unaware that the other had already paid a visit. I can’t quite tell if it’s a dodgy operation, but I’m quite capable of doing my own digging to manage my energy suppliers. They bombard you with an array of questions, practically forcing their way in, and pressuring you to sign up for whatever sales or marketing nonsense they’re peddling at the time. A neighbour of mine had her phone snatched away, and the number that texted her was contacted on her behalf without her consent, leading her to unwittingly enrol in a range of dubious services, all while being urged to tell fibs. It’s frankly appalling that anyone should feel so uneasy in the sanctity of their own home.
