Just like everyone else, I picked up and all I heard was a dial tone. Then they rang me again a couple hours later, turned out to be Scottish Power. They were really pushy about how I shouldn’t be satisfied with my present contract. I had a laugh with it, that’s what counts.

Had a pushy guy with a thick Scottish accent trying to get me onto Scottish Power. He claimed I’d get about a 33% reduction on my duel fuel bill for a year and a half. Seemed too good to be true, and it really was. When I did the maths on the rates he gave me, the yearly charge would actually be around 50% more. Plus, the total cost kept switching during the chat, and whenever I questioned it, he’d just shout and interrupt me. Then he cut me off without saying why. Feels like a dodgy scam to grab your bank details.
