I received a call from a chap, presumably of Asian descent, who introduced himself as David from Claims Direct based in Glasgow. He started off talking about an incident I supposedly had and referenced some Bureau or other. As he began to suggest that I ought to make a claim, I pressed him for the name of his company. Upon confirming that detail, I promptly told him to clear off, as I had my suspicions about the legitimacy of his call.

I've received numerous calls from these folks insisting that I've been involved in a car accident. It's absolutely absurd, considering I've never even driven a car! They then went on to claim I was a passenger, which again is complete nonsense. I've never had any such incident. I made it quite clear that I would be reporting this to my fraud team, and before I knew it, they started hurling abuse at me before abruptly disconnecting. What a shambles!
