Got a ring about some market survey thing. Didn't answer, blocked the number right away.

Got a call from some helpdesk team trying to do a survey, said it was to 'help with costs' or something like that. I didn’t catch who they were from, but since I didn't ask for it, I just said no thanks. Saw a review earlier that mentioned Beneficial might be behind these calls. Seems like they keep switching phone numbers just to keep hassling folks.

So, been abroad when I got this call, and as soon as the guy started with his usual fibs, I just left the phone beside my radio blasting some tunes. He hung up right after, about a minute in. This was the first time I'd seen this particular number, but Beneficial have used loads of fake numbers before to give scams like this. Total scam alert.
