So this number called me yesterday telling me I owed money and that it was some kind of government debt collection. I didn’t trust it at all and just blocked them. But today, they rang back from an 0191 number with the same story. I’m pretty sure it’s a scam. The people on the line don’t sound British, more like they’re calling from a call centre abroad, which makes me really suspicious about their claim that they’re working for the government.
