0141 673 9952 - This number seems to be the beginning of a string from 0141 673 ???? - Not familiar with it at all - Could it be a potential scam?

The energy con has been successfully shut down.

0845 - I answered the call, but there was no reply from the other end. They promptly disconnected without uttering a word.

It rang without a message being dropped, and it was near six o'clock on a Saturday evening.

I remained silent and, after a brief pause, the other party simply ended the call.

I received a call from someone claiming to be my mobile network provider, but they didn’t reveal which one at first. Eventually, they said they were from EE, which is definitely not who I’m currently with. When I asked them to take my details off their list, they refused and ended the call when I wouldn’t disclose who I was using for my network. Quite annoying!

I received a couple of rings, but they stopped as soon as the voicemail picked up. No message was left behind.

They ring incessantly, and when I do answer, it's a brief exchange before we disconnect. It's becoming quite the bother, to say the least.

Had a call from a number I don’t recognise, but they didn’t bother to leave any message. Odd, isn’t it?

Gave my mobile a ring but received no reply, so I've gone ahead and blocked the number. Seems rather dodgy – probably one of those energy-related scams, as we keep encountering a multitude of 'local energy consultants' popping up all over the place.

Received a dodgy call regarding that energy con. I simply told him to bugger off!

Received a call from Glasgow, but the moment my answering machine started, they hung up without a word. It's baffling why I’d be getting calls from there! Number blocked now.
