This girl rings me up claiming it’s about some RTC thing. I’m like, do people seriously fall for this kinda scam nowadays? She insists it’s not a scam. I told her there’s no way, since I’ve never had an accident and I doubt you’re even calling from Glasgow! Then she got all snappy on the phone, saying maybe it was a glitch in their system. I just wasn’t having it. When she asked how I knew, I said I’m 27, work in IT security, and I’m not thick. I challenged her, saying if I looked up the number it’d probably be flagged as a scam, and she told me, “Go ahead, look it up.” So I did, found it listed over 700 times as a scam number. I told her she really needs to rethink what she’s doing - scamming people is just pathetic - then I hung up. I was feeling rubbish earlier today, but that little exchange actually cheered me up!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with Claims Direct. I told him I wasn’t up for chatting and ended the call straight away. I’ve never had any dealings with claims firms, so my gut said it was just a scam. Honestly, I’d never share any personal details with an unexpected caller - there’s far too many dodgy people out there looking to nick your hard-earned cash. It’s a shame, but these days you just can’t trust anyone!

Just got a call from a dodgy Glasgow number again, pretty sure it's a scam. Don’t bother leaving a voicemail, it’s a waste. Would be different if they showed up at my door - might give them a proper Weegie welcome!

The person on the phone never said who they were or what company they worked for. He asked if I wanted to get into online trading. When I said no, he then asked why. I told him it wasn’t any of his concern and made it clear that I wasn’t interested in anything he was selling. Just as he tried to launch into his sales spiel, I told him to cut it out and that I was hanging up, then I ended the call.

Some lass rang me up sayin it was about a wee traffic accident I supposedly had. I just told her straight up that I haven't been in any accident and to quit botherin me with the calls.

I got a call from this number, a woman said her name was Lisa. She was insisting that I’d been involved in a road traffic accident and someone had filed a claim. I told her I wasn’t part of any accident, but she kept pushing the same story. Eventually, I just ended the call.
