Got a call the other day from someone saying they were EDF, but they started asking for my bank details and sort code. Felt off straight away so I just ended the call, they were way too cheerful and it rubbed me the wrong way. When I phoned EDF myself, they told me everything was fine and no one had tried contacting me. Honestly, I found it hard to believe EDF would let this kind of scam go on, and it seemed like they didn’t bother to check properly before dismissing my concerns.
